How Does it Work?

Google adwords works on a pay per click basis, so that you pay everytime somebody clicks on your link. The links appear on the right hand side of the usual Google search page.

You bid an amount per click and this determines where you are placed in the sponsored links. For example if you bid 5p for the search phrase 'icecream' and your competitor bids 2p, your ad will appear higher in the ranking. You can set a limit per month so that you control your budget.

Won't my competitors simply keep clicking on my ad?

Google has a range of techniques in place to detect 'invalid clicks'. If Google find that your account has been subject to invalid clicking they will refund the cost of those clicks to you.

How much does it cost?

This depends upon your budget and competition for your key phrases. We can prepare a detailed report for you which will examine the most commonly searched for phrases for your industry and suggest the amount you bid to achieve the results you require.

Isn't it Expensive?

Google advertisisng is all about results. If you sell online or attract new customers through your advertising then your Google advertising should pay for itself. It can also be more cost effective compared to many other forms of advertising as it is targeted. If somebody doesn't read your newspaper advertisement you still pay for it.

Can't I managed my own Google campaign?

Yes you can, but do you really have the time to analyse the statistics and ensure that you are paying for the right keywords? Getting it wrong can be a costly mistake and we take care with every customer to make sure that your money is spent wisely. We also provide a detailed stats report each month and monitor your performance carefully.
